Privacy Policy

The short version

Puppy Ready ("we", "us") runs this website, puppiessale.org, as a free informational resource. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into our two forms: the checklist email signup and the contact form. We use it to send you the checklist or to reply, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@puppiessale.org.

What we collect, and where it goes

This site has no accounts, no payments and no login. Information reaches us in exactly two ways:

• The checklist signup (home page and checklist page) asks for your email address, so we can email you the readiness checklist and the occasional preparation tip.
• The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, so we can read what you've sent and reply to the right person.

Simply reading the site sends us nothing. Our web host, like almost every host, keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP address, requested page and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

What stays in your browser

The readiness checklist remembers which items you've ticked using your browser's local storage. Those ticks never leave your device — we can't see them, and they aren't sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes them.

We set no cookies of our own and run no analytics or tracking scripts of our own. The display fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers when a page loads.

How form delivery works (FormSubmit)

Both forms are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service. When you press send, your entries go to FormSubmit, which passes them on to our inbox at hello@puppiessale.org. FormSubmit processes your submission for that purpose under its own privacy terms, which you can read on formsubmit.co.

How we use your details

• To email you the checklist and occasional tips, if you signed up for them.
• To reply to your message, if you wrote to us.

That's the whole list. We don't sell or rent your details, we don't add you to lists you didn't ask for, and we don't send anything on behalf of third parties.

Advertising

We sometimes advertise this site on platforms such as Google Ads. If you arrived through an ad, the advertising platform may have set cookies or collected click data on its own services under its own privacy policy, before you reached us. We don't place ad-platform tracking pixels or conversion scripts on this site's pages.

How long we keep things

• Signup emails: kept while you're subscribed, deleted when you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
• Contact messages: kept in our inbox as long as they're useful for answering you and improving the site, then deleted.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe: reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us, or write to hello@puppiessale.org, and we'll stop emailing you.
• Deletion: email us and we'll delete what we hold about you and confirm once it's done.
• Access and correction: email us and we'll tell you what we have (it will be one of the two forms above) and fix anything that's wrong.

Depending on where you live, data-protection law may give you additional rights over your personal information; we'll honour any such request sent to the same address.

Children

This site is written for adults preparing to bring a dog home, and the forms are intended for use by adults. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information — for example, by adding analytics — we'll update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
